We are a family owned and operated small business based in tropical Far North Queensland and we take great pleasure in designing and creating exclusive bespoke timber products using sustainably sourced timbers from across Australia, but we primarily work with woods ethically sourced from the wet tropics.

Pickers Ridge Hardwood Designs is the end result of 25 years of woodcraft for personal pleasure that grew to be a small business and a welcomed participant in many markets in Far North Qld, Australia. All products you find on this website have been designed and made on site here in Far North Queensland, meaning they are not found anywhere else. If you like exclusivity, welcome to Pickers Ridge.

We are also active permaculturalists who do our best to live a sustainable life with a small footprint and because of this mindset most of our products use minimal amounts of wood in them; and that helps us maximize the use and end benefit of the available timber we have while at the same time delivering bespoke high-end quality products to the discerning customer.
