Caring for your Dangle Earrings
Wooden Dangle Earrings from Pickers Ridge are maintenance-free.
Each wooden dangle earring pair is finished with a waterproof coating so they can take the odd shower or swim. We don’t recommend these activities, but it happens.
The finish should withstand hair products, but we cannot be certain, as there are so many different kinds of ingredients in hair products. We are very confident that your wood earrings will be ok if they get a bit on them by mistake.
Rinse and dry the Wood Earring to remove any hair product. The wood earrings are reasonably strong but do take care and be gentle with them.
Replacing a lost Wood Earring
Wood Dangle Earrings from Pickers Ridge are individually matched when they are made. Each pair of Wooden Earrings is handmade from a single slice of wood that we process to the required thickness.
This means that the color and grain patterns in the wood match as close as possible, and a replacement earring from a different piece of wood is unlikely to even come close to the original. We understand that earrings get lost at times; we have several customers who can attest to this…. (Hi girls.)
