These closed bottom boat shuttles are ready for work and are quite light in weight. The color tones vary from dark rich reds to pale goldens and bronze.

The Red Cedar tree these shuttles are made from was blown over in cyclone Rona in 1999.
The tree grew on the Mossman Sugar Mill grounds (15 minutes north of Port Douglas in Far North QLD), and it was destined to fall as it had quite a lot of rot in the main trunk, so it was only a matter of time. We were fortunate enough to have a section of the trunk dropped off for us to mill and then store.
