This shuttle is made using figured Australian Blackwood. We have a small stash of this wood and some has incredible figure. This shuttle holds a good amount of figure and is typical of the classic blackwood color tones. It is a wonderful wood and is used in the premium Australian acoustic guitar industry by brands such as Maton, played by Tommy Emmanuel.
This shuttle takes the standard Ashford 100mm bobbins. (not included)
