15-inch closed bottom Boat Shuttle, Silkwood Maple

These 15-inch shuttles are our offering to the more price sensitive weavers. They are shuttles that don’t hold grain figure to the extent of being truly exotic. Each shuttle will have wonderful grain attributes in it’s own right and is still designed with our anti-diving design for trouble-free weaving.

The images seen in this listing are indicative of the grain that silkwood maple has when not swimming in heavy figure. The colors will vary from bronze to silver, with an occasional shuttle having both.

These shuttles take a standard 150mm bobbin such as the ashford type and will accept many other styles of bobbin. No bobbin is included in the listing price.
