Ravioli Rolling Pin, silkwood body and rosewood rails

These are a neat little rolling pin that makes 12 ravioli per turn. The pins have been designed to work with the pasta machines that clamp to your benchtop. This is not required as such, as you can use store bought pasta sheets just as easily.
The tapered ends are designed to help with the rolling process and give a good place for you to push down without the blunt end or sharpish edge that other pins can have.
The body of this pin is Silkwood maple, and the rails are New Guinea Rosewood.

Description
These pins make terrific gifts for the aspiring chef in your life. The upside is you get to enjoy the home-made ravioli as well if you are lucky.
Clean-up is as easy as wiping over with a damp warm cloth. The finish is food safe and water resistant, so we don’t recommend immersion in water… or placing in the dishwashing machine.
The pockets in the pin are finished with a polyurethane finish to protect the wood core from damage and the rails and handles are treated with food-grade mineral oil and beeswax.
