These earrings are handcrafted from Silkwood Maple and feature gentle curves with a matching round insert of Silkwood Maple in the bezel.
The timber has a mix of lovely soft hues of light browns.
We have used surgical steel posts with comfort clutch aluminum and acrylic earring backs making them suitable for sensitive ears.
They are very light weighing only 2g each (including the comfort clutch)

Description
These earrings are water-resistant, however we recommend avoiding complete immersion.
This wood was milled over 20 years ago in the Mossman district of Far North Queensland Australia and is becoming very difficult to source. The wood can have silver tones as well as gold, with silver being close to the sapwood and the darker hues being heartwood.
