Bloodwood is one of our eucalyptus trees here in Australia, and this variety is a local to the wet tropics of northeast Australia. The wood will darken over time and will become a rich reddy-brown. It is a dense wood, without being impossible to hold. They weigh around 80 grams.
The wood will occasionally display some figure.
These shuttles take the standard 100mm Ashford bobbin (not included)
