Australian red cedar is a rare and valuable high-grade timber from Australia’s mid to northeastern coast and is now rarely available in commercial quantities.
This particular piece of red cedar originates from the now-closed Mossman sugar mill where the tree was blown over by a cyclone over 20 years ago. This shuttle is extremely light at 49 grams making it a wonderful partner for those who get tired shoulders from extended periods at the loom.
The shuttle takes standard 100mm bobbins. Bobbin not included.
