9.5-inch Closed Bottom Boat Shuttle, Bloodwood

Bloodwood is an Australian Eucalypt tree, and this variety is a local to the wet tropics of northeast Australia. When first machined the wood color is a soft pink. The wood will naturally darken over time, and it can become deliciously reddy-brown. This wood is dense and hard but is good to work with.

These shuttles take a standard 100mm Ashford bobbin (not included)
